PENGEPUNGAN Kobani: VIDEO Insider MENUNJUKKAN Advance Militan ISIS . . .



tvR Sebagai pertempuran sengit terus untuk bandar Kurdish daripada Kobani berhampiran sempadan Turki-Syria, video yang telah diposkan dalam talian yang menunjukkan kemajuan yang membimbangkan. Terdapat kebimbangan meluas menawan bandar boleh mengakibatkan pembunuhan berdarah beramai-ramai.

Video itu tlh diposkan dlm talian pd hari Jumaat oleh kumpulan yg disambungkan ke ISIS menunjukkan militan menggunakan bom tangan roket dige-rakkan dan sledgehammers manakala dalam memajukan bandar yang mengepung Kobani.

Sehingga Jumaat, jihad kawal 40 % peratus daripada kawasan itu.

Klip 2 minit panjang menunjukkan adegan berperang di jalanan, militan berubah pembawaan dan bertujuan kebakaran. Golongan ini dilengkapi dengan pelbagai jenis senjata termasuk senapang-tommy & senapang patah. AP melaporkan bahawa video itu telah disahkan dengan lokasi dan acara yang diketahui oleh pakar-pakar serantau.

AP memetik seorang pegawai Kurdish sebagai berkata bahawa perang itu terutamanya yang berlaku di bahagian selatan dan timur bandar.

Banyak Kurdis di Turki jiran mengambil bahagian dalam protes merayu kepada kerajaan utk campur tangan & membiarkan Kurd Turki menyeberangi sempadan dan mengambil bahagian dalam pertahanan bandar. Walaupun serangan udara oleh gabungan yang diketuai Syarikat, pejuang IS naik minggu ini.

As fierce fighting continues for the Kurdish city of Kobani near the Turkish-Syrian border, a video was posted online showing the advance of the jihadists. There are widespread fears the town’s capture may result in a bloody massacre.

The video was posted online on Friday by a group connected to ISIS to show militants using rocket propelled grenades and sledgehammers while advancing inside the besieged city of Kobani.

As of Friday, the jihadists controlled 40 percent of the area.


The two-minute long clip shows the scenes of fight in the streets, militants changing dispositions and aiming fire. The jihadists are equipped with different kinds of weapons including tommy-guns and shotguns. AP reported that the video has been authenticated against known locations and events by regional experts.

AP cites a Kurdish official as saying that fighting was mainly taking place in the southern and eastern parts of the city.


Many Kurds in neighboring Turkey took part in protests appealing to the government to intervene and to let Turkish Kurds cross the border and participate in defense of the town. Despite airstrikes by the US-led coalition, the IS fighters advanced this week.

Balai Cerap Syria Britain berasaskan Hak Asasi Manusia berkata pejuang Kurdish di bandar ini sedang keluar ditembak oleh militan.

Utusan PBB ke Syria Staffan de Mistura memberi amaran Jumaat bahawa jika Kobani jatuh ke ISIS, ribuan orang yang ada akan "kemungkinan besar akan dibunuh." Beliau menggesa Turki untuk menghalang penyembelihan.

"Adakah anda masih ingat Srebrenica? Kami. Kami tidak pernah lupa dan mungkin kita tidak pernah memaafkan diri kami sendiri," de Mistura kepada wartawan.

Sekurang-kurangnya 500 orang terbunuh dan lebih daripada 200,000 terpaksa melarikan diri ke Turki sejak jihad IS memulakan serangan ke atas Kobani pada pertengahan September.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the town's Kurdish fighters are being outgunned by the militants.

UN envoy to Syria Staffan de Mistura warned Friday that if Kobani falls to ISIS, thousands of civilians there would “most likely be massacred.” He urged Turkey to prevent the slaughter.

"Do you remember Srebrenica? We do. We never forgot and probably we never forgave ourselves," de Mistura told journalists.


At least 500 people have been killed and more than 200,000 forced to flee into Turkey since the IS jihadists started an assault on Kobani in mid-September.
